Introduction to Marketing 2 Women International

Marketing 2 Women International is Launching Power Business Clusters in a City Near You
Marketing 2 Women International was developed to help companies thrive during and beyond the recession by facilitating lucrative cross marketing partnerships between Main Street America and the online women in business community. We are setting up Power Business Clusters in cities around the globe to help online businesswomen and Main Street companies team up to share the cost of marketing and advertising to women in business by contributing a minimum of $50 monthly to an ad pool.
There are a lot of business organizations out there that provide networking opportunities and referrals. However, they don’t pool their resources with companies around the globe to implement joint marketing projects or share the cost of advertising to reach the women in business market.
A business cluster is a group of small firms from similar industries that team up and act as one body. Creating a business cluster enables firms to enjoy economies of scale usually only available to bigger competitors. Marketing costs can be shared and goods can be bought more cheaply. There are also networking advantages, which small firms can share experiences and discuss business strategies.
Clusters are considered to increase the productivity with which companies can compete, nationally and globally. Innovation and outside of the box thinking is needed to keep your business doors open in this roller coaster economy. Recovery will happen from the bottom up in cites around the globe.
Each Power Business Cluster will be comprised of related companies who service the female audience of a mutual industry – florists, doctors, job seekers, restaurants, chambers of commerce, government agencies, Realtors, etc.- so they can service each others’ current client base, advertise and market together to get more clients, and team up to bid on large projects, and much more. Think of them as BNI on steroids. They will team up with different Marketing 2 Women International clusters every month to penetrate new women in business markets.
Women start businesses at a faster pace than men every year. They generate $3 trillion in revenue. Now add that amount to what the overall women’s market spends in the U.S. on personal products and services — $5 trillion — and you see why companies should focus their marketing dollars on attracting women in business. They need business as well as consumer products and services. In short, they control the purse strings of their businesses and households.
Marketing 2 Women International plans to fill a void left by traditional networking groups and the recession so companies can afford to market and advertise while penetrating new women in business markets. Main Street America is searching for ways to get more foot traffic to their brick and mortar companies via the Internet while the online women in business community is looking offline for new sources of traffic and sales.
With Main Street America looking to the Internet for new clients and navigating the social media maze, they can cut through all of the clutter by simply forming collaborative business relationships with savvy online business and professional women to find creative ways to market to their customers. The online women in business community can equally benefit from collaborating with Main Street America by having physical locations to place their virtual kiosks to service brick and mortar customers as well as take advantage of overflow work caused by their staff reduction.
As a part of Marketing 2 Women International, businesses will do four things …
- Pool their resources to co-sponsor major women’s business conferences (eWomen Network, Ladies Who Launch, NAWBO) and purchase online advertising from the top search engines and social media sites so they can strategically expand their client base throughout every US and international metropolitan area. Every month there are expos and conferences conducted in different states and international metro areas. By pooling $50 every month and launching consortiums in every city, we will have enough funds to exhibit at an unlimited number of women’s expos and conferences every month as well as have enough women to “man” the booths.
Marketing 2 Women International understands that having a large group of companies advertising together requires marketing finesse to ensure everyone receive equal attention.
We a have a fantastic game plan to not only WOW! the companies involved in the joint advertising projects but the women who visit our booths. Companies will be grouped into clusters of ten and assigned a promotional campaign that showcases their products or services.
Promotional campaigns will include:
- Joint newsletters
- Business makeovers
- Personal makeovers
- Business grants
- Goody bags
- Conduct joint surveys and give gifts to the women that take them
- Product demos
- Drawings every 30 minutes
- 10 minute video classes cycling on laptops for booth visitors to take part in.
- Promotional items
- Etc.
- Create joint marketing collateral materials to distribute every month when they attend their local women’s group meetings so they can attract new female clients in each others’ metropolitan areas.
- Have clients funneled to them by other Marketing 2 Women International business associates to keep their pipelines full.
- Work together to “man” the Marketing to Women Business Center in their region by providing their products and services to the Center’s members and visitors. Not only will they help women in their state thrive during and beyond this recession, they will serve as a door openers for women from other US and global metropolitan areas who want to tap into their local women in business market by utilizing their products and services.
